For this General Manager position;
- Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to enhance market share, increase revenue, and improve overall company performance.
- Oversee and optimize all operational functions, including shipping, warehousing, customs clearance, and customer service.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 50+ employees, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market reach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that may impact business operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all departments to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a senior management role within the logistics industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills with a proven track record of success in leading and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement effective business plans.
- Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
