In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for maintaining our IT network infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure operations across all locations. You’ll provide hands-on support to our diverse team of employees, collaborators, and guests, solving technical issues and keeping our systems running at their best. - Manage the local IT network, including workstations, servers, and internet services, ensuring everything runs smoothly and securely at all our locations.
- Provide friendly and efficient technical support to all users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Implement security measures, manage user access, and ensure regular backups to keep our systems safe and in line with IT policies.
- Keep our IT asset inventory up to date, oversee the setup of new equipment, and manage disposals, all while staying aligned with budget and operational needs.
- Work with vendors to handle IT purchases, manage software licenses, and ensure everything is compliant with legal and operational standards.
- Help create and maintain IT policies and procedures that align with global best practices and local regulations.
- Monitor and maintain server security, quickly addressing any risks to ensure reliable service.
- Set up IT resources for new team members and manage access for departing staff to ensure seamless transitions.
- Provide on-site IT support at our project locations when needed to keep everything running smoothly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of IT support experience, ideally in a multi-site organization.
- Strong knowledge of networking, internetworking technologies, and Microsoft Windows environments.
- Experience with firewalls, internet gateways, email systems, collaboration tools, databases, and security applications.
- Basic familiarity with design applications used in architecture and engineering is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
- A commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
